Thanks. :) I think that one was the first non-jewelry-based dreamcatcher that actually sold online. ^^ Was definitely a fave of mine.

It's gorgeous. Did you dye the feathers or are they naturally this colourful?

They are natural. :) They come from a family friend's parrot. Scarlet macaw. It's amazing, though, I never knew their feathers had THAT many shades. You don't see them all on the bird. Not properly, anyway, unless you catch them spreading the wings or tail just right.

I WISH I knew how to dye feathers. XD I'd be playing with that so much.

I had no idea scarlet macaws had so many colours in their feathers. Come to think of it, it's not that surprising though. My parents had a parrot when I was a kid and she had way more colours in her feathers than you'd think at first sight. I don't remember he breed name, but she was one of those green ones with the yellow head and red shoulders.

For dying them, try food colouring in water with white feathers (I think they sell them in craft stores for people who make pillows). You can experiment with oil and alcohol too to make patterns. I had a lot of fun with that as a kid. My brother did too, except what he dyed was the cat XD
