New art site?
Anybody know what the good art sites to move to? I just... cannot deal with DA anymore. I'm barely checking my watch list stuff because the site is just so unusable for me even after this long. I'd like to find a place that isn't an accessibility nightmare. Otherwise I'm just giving up on having a consolidated gallery for now.
Articulating the problem.
So... Eclipse, huh? This is a copypasta from something I told my sister, because it feels important to properly put into words WHY the new site is bothering me. My big problem is it's been in beta for as long as it has and they released it still with apparently half the functionality not working (plus the vast majority of the community seems to be lukewarm on it at best - they seem to have ignored a lot of the feedback they got during the beta period which is disappointing). One of the biggest complaints re: lost functionality is that they seemed to have missed the point that DA's primary appeal was not simply as a gallery site (after all, there are plenty of alternatives for that now - Artstation being the big one) but the way the community aspect worked was KEY to how the site functioned and why we were all there, and I've been hearing LOTS of reports that the community functions are all a lot more difficult to use now (groups especially, which is an aspect I can't currently see
Possible absence
So, like many people I am... less than thrilled with Eclipse's design. It's not simply that I find it aesthetically displeasing, but also that the way it's laid out causes me such sensory overload, that every time I had tried to switch Eclipse on to get accustomed to it, I have to turn it back off within minutes because there's just too many stimuli on the page and it doesn't work out for me. I am autistic, and have ADHD, so I am not sure if it has to do with that, or if the design causes this problem for "normal" people as well, but that's where I'm at.

General wellness update
Like many people right now, I am not doing the greatest. I already have a nice alphabet soup of mental conditions (most recently diagnosed are the autism and ADHD - yes apparently both no wonder I'm a wreck) and given we decided to start self-isolating around 3 weeks ago, it's all been exacerbated due to the disruption in routine.
This is not helped along by the fact that, while I am very grateful my partner is able to work from home until this passes, our house is... it's not even really that small, just laid out in such a way as to be an acoustic nightmare (you can hear every freaking noise from every part of the house no matter how hard y
